404 page

Use layouts/404.html for an unresolved route. Keep the recovery path short: identify the missing page, retain the normal site chrome, and offer one clear link to the current language’s home page.

Do not add#

Do not turn the 404 into a sitemap, a promotional landing page, or a form. Recovery needs one obvious next destination; search is already available in the shared header.
